DIRECTORS

Judy Wexler
President

Judy is the founder of iRun4Life. Her love of running coupled with the rising trend of childhood obesity lead her to create iRun4Life in 2008. She started the running program at her children's elementary school—Bridge Valley in Furlong, PA. Her mission is to motivate young girls and boys to go outside and have fun exercising with their family and friends. This program gives the children confidence and enthusiasm to challenge themselves in and out of school.

Judy has overseen the growth of iRun4Life which is now in 10 school districts in both PA and NJ.

She created the iRun4Life Director Program Information online documents which provide School Directors with essential information needed to organize and start iRun4Life's fun, noncompetitive running program. Judy also writes grants for iRun4Life and has been awarded two running grants — Saucony's Run for Good Grant, and New York Road Runner's Event to Run Grant. Judy also initiated and organized the iRun4Life's Gives Back Program where iRun4Life affiliated schools fundraise for a specific needs based community project.

It is Judy's goal to expand iRun4Life's running program into as many elementary schools as possible so that all children have an opportunity to experience the joy of running and healthy nutrition.

Judy and her family live in Jamison, PA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting at Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA at Syracuse University. She has run many races including marathons and half marathons, and enjoys sharing her love of exercise and healthy nutrition with her husband and 2 children.

Yvette White
Treasurer

Yvette White started out as a volunteer for the iRun4Life after-school program at Buckingham Elementary in 2014, as a newcomer to the area. This was a way to get involved in the school and meet other parents and her children's friends. She has been the director of the Buckingham  program for the last 2 years and is excited to join the board as Treasurer.

Yvette worked as a chemical engineer for DuPont and ExxonMobil before deciding to stay at home with her children. She is also currently Co-President of the Buckingham Elementary PTO.

Yvette resides in Doylestown with her husband and 3 children.

Jeanette Guerrelli
School Outreach Coordinator

Growing up, Jeanette Guerrelli always had a passion for teaching kids. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University, and her Master's Degree in Reading from Gwynedd Mercy College. She taught for over 12 years as an elementary school teacher and as a Reading Specialist.

Even though she left teaching in a classroom, today Jeanette continues to educate others. She is an independent Consultant with Arbonne. As a consultant, she educates others about pure, safe, and beneficial skincare, health and wellness. Over the years, her passion for nutrition grew. She pursued a Certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She leads Healthy Living Programs where she teaches others about clean eating, and helps them incorporate a healthy diet and lifestyle to feel their best.

Jeanette has been the iRun4Life Director at St. Jude Elementary School for 2 years. She believes in the program, and loves that childen are learning about healthy nutrition and incorporating fitness into their lives. She is now the School Outreach Coordinator for the iRun4Life organization. Her goal in this role is to educate more schools about this incredible program so more students can reap the benefits of all the program has to offer.

She resides in Bucks County with her husband and 3 children. In her free time, she loves to be with her family, exercise, be outside, read and travel.

Michael Gladysz
Media Outreach Coordinator

After growing up with sports like basketball and lacrosse, Michael became an avid runner in his early 20s and hasn't looked back. Although he doesn't run competitively, Michael has completed multiple half-marathons, 10ks and 5ks, often times using the events to raise money for charity. He's completed the Broad Street Run twice.

Michael is a major proponent of youth athletics, health and fitness, and the mission behind iRun4Life is what drew him to the organization in the first place.

A University of Pittsburgh graduate, Michael has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing, public relations and media. He and his wife, Lindsay, live in Lansdale, Pa. with their dog (and favorite running partner), Layla.

Carol Thomson
Gives Back Program Coordinator

A resident of Warrington since 1999, Carol has been a CPA for over 25 years and she has her MBA in finance. She began her career at PWC and later held various positions in corporate finance at ADP, Verizon and Verizon Wireless. She has a small accounting practice and is an independant consultant for various organizations.  Carol was attracted to iRun4Life because she feels strongly that children should have the opportunity to engage in sports/fitness programs. The organization's programs increase children's confidence while they also learn the importance of giving back to their community.

Carol's husband is an avid runner and cross-country coach, so it wasn't long before Carol also became passionate about running. She and her husband have run many races together, often to raise money for charitable causes.

Carol also enjoys playing tennis and scuba diving. She has three adult children and one granddaughter.
